ADGP’s daughter’s counter complaint against Gavaskar to backfire

Thiruvananthapuram: The complaint registered against the police driver Gavasker by ADGP’s daughter is likely to face a setback in the court.

ADGP’s daughter filed a counter complaint at the Museum police station alleging that Gavaskar drove the car rashly towards her and she got injured in her leg. But it was revealed that she sought medical assistance after being hit by an autorickshaw.

It is reported that the probe team will record the statement of ADGP’s daughter to clarify the matter.

Snigdha, daughter of ADGP Sudhesh Kumar, alleged in her complaint that Gavaskar purposefully drove the car over her leg. Meanwhile, the documents in the hospital revealed that the injury marks were due to being hit by autorickshaw.

Orthopedic surgeon who examined Snidha also recorded the matter in his case sheet. The probe team has collected the statement of the doctor and hospital documents to prove the same.

ADGP’s driver Gavaskar got admitted to a hospital after being assaulted by Snigdha. He filed a complaint against her following the incident. Meanwhile, Snigdha also filed a counter complaint against the driver.

Gavaskar filed a plea in the high court seeking to quash the case against him. In his plea he alleged that a fake complaint was lodged against him in order to wreak vengeance after he refused to withdrew the case against her.
