Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan will conduct a Vikas Yatra in all the 14 districts of the State.

Kummanam will conduct the Vikas Yatra through the various districts of the State from January 16 to March 15, BJP state general secretary AN Radhakrishnan said.

The BJP state president is conducting the  yatra to utilise the support received by the party’s Janaraksha Yatra, at the organizational level of the party. The yatra will be conducted in each district for two to three days.  The yatra, that will commence at Thrissur on January 16, will end at Kottayam on March 15.

AN Radhakrishnan clarified these matters while explaining the decisions taken at the meeting of state leaders of the party at Thiruvananthapuram.

Kummanam will interact with people from various sectors in each district. He will participate in around 20 meetings in each district. Kummanam’s yatra is in the model of the Vistrit Pravas (detailed tour) conducted by BJP national president Amit Shah. BJP state general secretaries and other leaders will accompany Kummanam during the yatra.

The state leaders evaluated at the meeting that the Loka Kerala Sabha meeting conducted by the state government was a trickery. The government has not been able to present even a single project for the benefit of the State. The state is wasting thousands of crores of rupees that was allocated by the Centre, the leaders said at the meeting.
